New destinations in 2023 from Lyon

For this year 2023, Lyon Airport welcomes several new lines!

Destinations to discover at the beginning of the year

Since January 10th, Wizz Air links Lyon and London Gatwick 4 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Norwegian will arrive in Lyon with a route from Stockholm every Saturday from January 21.

Emirates will resume its Lyon-Dubai route daily from February 1.

Great discoveries from Lyon this spring!

For lovers of Italy, Volotea is offering new routes to Florence and Milan-Bergamo, as well as direct flights to Madrid, starting in April.

Transavia is opening a new summer route from Lyon to Antalya from April 10.

Twin Jet has confirmed the opening of the Lyon-Lille route from April 17 with 5 flights per week.

And other destinations to discover this summer!

easyJet has already announced a new route to Malaga for June, a 42nd destination available from Lyon.

Air Arabia opens its route to Oujda, Morocco, from June 21 to September 6 every Wednesday.

Great news! Berlin will finally be connected to Lyon by direct flight from October 12, every Thursday and Sunday.
And as good news never comes alone, you can now discover another German city: Hamburg from October 10 every Tuesday and Friday.
Cardiff will also be linked to Lyon from September 22. All three cities are served by Volotea

easyJet is opening three new cities from Lyon: La Rochelle from April 17, Cagliari from June 3 and Prague from September 4.

Transavia will offer flights to two new destinations. Discover Antalya and Turkey from Lyon on Mondays from April 10 and Tlemcen on Wednesdays from July 5.

Other good news for 2023!

In addition to new routes, some airlines are maintaining their 2022 winter routes for the summer of 2023!

This is the case of Transavia, which is extending 3 winter routes to Senegal (Dakar), Egypt (Hurghada) and Turkey (Istanbul) from April to October 2023 with several direct flights per week.

Air Transat is extending its direct service to Montreal from Lyon to November 2023 with 3 flights per week.

Over 100 destinations from Lyon

Between new destinations and reinforcement of lines, Lyon Airport offers nearly 100 destinations to Lyon residents.

In 2022, 7 new destinations have been launched: Amman (Jordanian Airlines), Hurghada and Stockholm (Transavia), Tirana and Krakow (Wizzair), Milan (Twinjet), and Belgrade (Air Serbia).

Other airlines are strengthening their offer on 10 existing destinations: easyJet has been offering Funchal since december. Wizzair is also adding Rome to its network in Lyon. Volotea offers Sétif and Minorca and TwinJet launches Bologna.
