The result of a collaboration between Air France and Transavia Holland, Transavia is a low-cost airline based at Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport. Specialising in medium-haul scheduled flights and charter flights, the airline serves over 160 destinations across Europe and the Mediterranean. In France, Transavia flies from Paris Orly, Nantes and Lyon to London, Lisbon, Faro, Athens, Algiers, Amsterdam, and more. Transavia has a fleet of more than 70 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Transavia passengers can join the Flying Blue programme to earn Award Miles and use them to pay for a hotel room, car hire or a plane ticket from a member airline of the SkyTeam alliance (Air France, KLM, etc.). The number of Award Miles you earn varies according to several criteria: distance travelled, how often you fly, choice of cabin (Business or Economy) and ticket fare conditions.

The Flying Blue loyalty programme lets you redeem your Award Miles for different types of Awards:

  • Classic Awards: tickets for flights with all member airlines of the SkyTeam Alliance;
  • Flex Awards: tickets for flights with Air France, KLM, Air Europa, Kenya Airways or Tarom;
  • Promo Awards: tickets for flights to a selection of destinations with limited availability.

Baggage


Hand luggage goes through two checkpoints at the airport: at the check-in desk and at the boarding gate. There are restrictions on the number of bags, the size and the weight. Hand luggage that does not meet the requirements is transported in the hold for an additional €40, to be paid by card at the boarding gate. Transavia restrictions concerning the number, weight and size of bags are as follows:

For business class (Max fare)

  • Two pieces of free hand luggage in the cabin;
  • Two hand luggage sizes to choose from: 45x40x25 cm max. under the seat in front of you or 55x40x25 cm max. in the overhead lockers;
  • Maximum weight per person for checked baggage: 50 kg;
  • Maximum weight of each checked bag: 32 kg;
  • Excess baggage fee: €15 per 5 kg.


For economy class

  • One piece of free hand luggage in the cabin;
  • Two hand luggage sizes to choose from: 45x40x25 cm max. under the seat in front of you or 55x40x25 cm max. in the overhead lockers;
  • Maximum weight per person for checked baggage: 50 kg;
  • Maximum weight of each checked bag: 32 kg;
  • Excess baggage fee: €15 per 5 kg.

Programme de fidélité


Les passagers Transavia peuvent s’inscrire  au programme Flying Blue pour cumuler des Miles-Prime et les échanger contre une nuit d’hôtel, une location de véhicule ou un billet d’avion opéré par les compagnies membres de l’alliance SkyTeam (Air France, KLM etc.). Le nombre de Miles-Prime obtenu varie en fonction de plusieurs critères : la distance parcourue, la fréquence de vos voyages, le type de cabine choisit (Business ou Economie) et les conditions tarifaires des billets.
