Celebrate Hogmanay: New Year, Scottish Style

In Scotland, New Year's Eve is known as Hogmanay, and nowhere celebrates it quite like Edinburgh, the world-famous Home of Hogmanay.

This spectacular four-day celebration begins on 29 December with the Torchlight Procession, transforming the city streets into a mesmerising river of light. On 30 December, the Night Afore Party brings live music and an electric atmosphere to the heart of the city.

The celebrations reach their peak on 31 December with Edinburgh's legendary Street Party, one of the world's greatest New Year events. Enjoy live music, DJs, street performers, traditional Pipes & Drums and a breathtaking fireworks display above Edinburgh Castle as the clock strikes midnight.
