2. Explore the Cyclades in Greece

Ah, Greece and its picture postcard landscapes... The cradle of western civilisation is full of monuments and museums to visit, but the country is just as well known for its magnificent islands. From Lyon, you can fly to Athens or fly directly to one of the Cyclades islands in less than 3 hours! Santorini, Mykonos, Kos, Heraklion? You'll be spoilt for choice!

3. Spend a weekend in Copenhagen or Budapest

Would you prefer a European city break?

That's no problem because many European capitals are open to travellers despite the pandemic. As an example, you can spend a week-end in Copenhagen discovering Danish culture and exploring this beautiful city on foot or by bike. The flight from Lyon to the capital takes less than 3 hours...It would be a pity not to make the most of it!

Another just as pleasant destination is Budapest, which will delight with its architectural gems. The capital of Hungary is easy to visit for a weekend but you can easily spend sev-eral days there as the city is full of great places to discover.
