Where and when to go to Canada?

Your desires, our recommendations!

From Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS), Air Canada offers up to 5 flights per week to Montréal all year round. During the summer season (April-October), Air Transat also offers direct flights from Lyon to Montréal.

For a two-week stay in Canada, based on two adults travelling from Lyon, with an average amount of spending money and staying at a hotel, you should expect to pay around €3800. This amount can of course vary depending on your choices and the season in which you prefer to travel.

Canada is very pleasant to visit in all seasons. Those who love adventure will go in winter, while sporty travellers will prefer autumn, to avoid tourists and take advantage of the early skiing season. Spring or summer are the perfect seasons for a comfortable trip for those who fear  the cold.

There are hundreds of beautiful sites to see in Canada: historical monuments, big cities, sites of outstanding natural beauty, etc. The most unmissable places are Niagara Falls, the Saint Lawrence River, La Mauricie national park, Lac Saint-Jean or the Gaspésie peninsula. The Banff and Jasper National Parks are also worth seeing.

See the northern lights, take in the atmosphere where nature still reigns and discover the beautiful midnight sun: this is what awaits you in the sublime Southern Lakes region. The region is made up of a succession of lakes with emerald green reflections, mountains, and typical log cabins.
