Loyalty programmes

Emirates has set up a loyalty programme, Emirates Skywards, which offers members the chance to accumulate air miles during every trip with Emirates, regardless of the price paid for the ticket. Air miles can also be accumulated from a network of partners worldwide (airlines, car rental companies, mass retail, banks, hotels, etc.).

Air miles can be exchanged for a wide range of rewards to improve your travel experience with Emirates:

• guaranteed seats even on fully-booked flights;

• surplus baggage allowance, etc. 

Access to these advantages depends on passengers' membership level.

There are four levels: Blue (0 – 24,999 air miles), Silver (25,000 – 49,999 air miles), Gold (50,000 – 149,999 air miles) and Platinum (from 150,000 air miles). Silver, Gold and Platinum status is valid for 14 months.

Membership of the Skywards Emirates programme is free of charge.

On-board services

All passengers on Emirates flights, in all classes, benefit from a huge range of services:

• free wi-fi;
• personal plugs for charging mobile devices;
• access to the Ice entertainment system (interactive games, up to 2,500 entertainment channels, etc.);
• an à-la-carte catering service, with snacks and meals during the flight.

Every class also benefits from its own advantages.

• Economy Class

Young passengers can benefit from a specially-designed entertainment programme and menu.

• Business Class and Premier Class

Benefit from flat-bed seats, a luxury toiletry kit, as well as access to a lounge-bar exclusively reserved for Business and Premier Class passengers (A380).

First Class passengers also benefit from a private room equipped with its own minibar. Lastly, most A380 planes are equipped with a spa shower.

Baggage

Emirates passengers have access to an online baggage allowance calculator. Passengers can find out the number of baggage items and weights allowed in the hold and cabin for any given destination.

You will also find a list of items that are allowed and prohibited on board and the fees applied for transporting special items.
