Mon, 06/15/2026 - 09:08

Since April 1, 2026, the activity has been fully consolidated in T1..

Since April 1, 2026, Terminal 2 at Lyon airport has been closed to the public.

This structural change marks a new stage in the organization of the platform. Concretely, all operations have been consolidated at Terminal 1, which becomes the only crossing point for travelers.

If you used to go to Terminal 2, remember to adapt your reflexes: today, everything happens at Terminal 1, without exception.

Volotea

All flights grouped at Terminal 1

Terminal 2 no longer accommodates any flights, either at departure or upon arrival.
Since April 1, 2026, all flights are operated exclusively from Terminal 1, regardless of your destination or airline.

The companies formerly present at T2 - Volotea, ASL Airlines, Norwegian and Air Arabia - also joined Terminal 1 on that date.

In practice, this means that your check-in, baggage drop-off, security checks and boarding are now all done at the same place in Terminal 1.

Terminal 2 shops closed

With the closure of the terminal, all businesses in Terminal 2 have ceased their activity.

Shops such as Paul, bar 2.21, L'Occitane en Provence, Brioche Dorée or even Aelia Duty Free in Terminal 2 are no longer accessible.

This change does not mean a reduction in supply. Quite the opposite: Terminal 1 now houses all the dining and shopping options, with a varied offer adapted to every moment of the trip (Délices de Lyon, Starbucks, Confluences Caféor even the pop-up store Histoires de Glaces.)

Whether you want to have a coffee before your flight, have lunch on the go or do some last-minute shopping, you will find all options in Terminal 1 in a modern and pleasant environment.

Zenline

All services centralized at Terminal 1

In the same logic, all passenger services are now grouped together at Terminal 1.

ZenLine, PHMR Assistance, Art Digital, information point, lounges: everything is accessible from a single terminal.

This centralization facilitates orientation and makes the route more intuitive, especially for occasional or international travelers.
