An airport committed to the environment

For positive mobility that is useful and provides solutions

In 2015, VINCI Airports launched an ambitious environmental policy for its 65 airports aimed at reducing its CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

Lyon Airport is an exemplary part of VINCI Airports' environmental strategy, having already achieved carbon neutrality with compensation in 2017 and with the ambitious goal of being the first commercial aviation airport in France to reach "zero net emissions" of greenhouse gases by 2026 within the scope of its business. Traveling via Lyon Airport is the assurance of using an airport committed to a path of progress for the environment: reduction of the carbon footprint, production of green energy, responsible water consumption, zero pesticides and waste recycling.
