Lyon Airport introduces an antigen testing service
New COVID-19 screening center at the airport
Antigen tests are now available for passengers arriving and departing from the airport
Since November 7, an antigen testing center has been open at the airport in coordination with the ARS (Regional Health Agency) and the Prefecture of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Fast, free and unconstrained screening
Lyon Airport has set up an antigen testing service in its medical center, on the ground floor of the Arc building (in the immediate vicinity of Terminal 2).
This service is reserved for passengers with a ticket for a departing flight within a maximum of 72 hours or an arriving flight the same day.
This screening is free, voluntary-based and without prior appointment.
The results, which do not require laboratory analysis, are available within 30 minutes.
Passengers will receive a hard-copy proof at the end of their test.
So do not hesitate: get tested!
For tests performed on the departure day, we recommend that you arrive at the airport in advance before your flight.
The new antigen testing services complements the mandatory RT-PCR tests, implemented since August 1 at Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport, for passengers arriving from countries at risk.
Since this date, more than 26 000 people (both passengers and crew) have been tested.

Please note: many countries only recognise the validity of RT-PCR tests for the admission of passengers from France. To check the requirements of your country of arrival, Lyon Airport recommends that passengers contact their airline or consult the France Diplomacy website.
