Flight Lyon Cyprus : Airline ticket

Cyprus has a Mediterranean climate and the weather is good for most of the year. The best time to visit Cyprus is between May and October as the temperatures are fairly high and it rarely rains.

You can enjoy the beaches and dive without worrying, notably off Larnaca where you can discover the famous Zenobia shipwreck. The winter months are cool and wet, but they are a good compromise for those who want to visit the island without the crowds.

Whether you like hiking, sightseeing or water sports, there is something for everyone in Cyprus. Considered to be one of the oldest cities in the world, the capital Nicosia is unmissable, as is the region of Troodos and Mount Olympus. You will have plenty of time to visit the region and enjoy beautiful hikes.

To the east, the port city of Larnaca is very popular for its beautiful beaches, as is Paphos, with its heavenly beaches and its extraordinary cultural heritage. Finally, at the southern tip of the country, Limassol is ideal if you are looking for a dynamic seaside resort.

If you want to discover more than one part of Cyprus, a car is your best option. You can hire one from almost anywhere on the island. Otherwise, you can take the bus. All of Cyprus' major towns have at least one bus stop.

Cyprus is full of natural beauties and memorable sites to discover. Cape Greco, for example, in the south of the island, boasts beautiful landscapes and impressive local fauna and flora. For history lovers, the Kato Paphos archaeological site is unmissable as is Kourion.

In the Paphos district, the Blue Lagoon and its crystal clear waters are another site not to be missed on the island. In Larnaca, don't miss the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque, the most sacred Muslim site in Cyprus. Finally, admire Aphrodite Rock, or Petra tou Romio, which is, according to the legend, Aphrodite's place of birth, located on an amazing beach.

It is difficult to choose as the island boasts many beaches all more beautiful than the next. Aphrodite beach, home to the famous rock, is certainly one of the best beaches in Cyprus. It provides access to several hidden bays and quiet coves.

The unspoilt appearance of Lara Beach and its turtle colonies are also a natural jewel. When it comes to enjoying water sports in an exceptional setting, Nissi Beach on the Ayia Napa coast is highly recommended.
