to get to the airport
To create links between the airport and its region, Lyon Aéroport deems that the speed, simplicity and way in which our customers arrive at the airport are an essential element of our customer service. Lyon Aéroport provides a network of different modes of transport to simplify your travel plans. Whether travelling to a town or city by train or bus, to Lyon city centre using the Rhônexpress tramway or to ski resorts by shuttle bus, you will find the mode of transport you need.

The SNCF train station is a two-minute walk from the airport.

Get to the airport in under 30 minutes via "Rhônexpress"
Located just a few minutes walk from terminals 1 and 2, the Rhônexpress tramway transports passengers between the airport and Lyon city centre in under 30 minutes. This is the fastest and most environmentally-friendly way to access the airport. Buy your ticket on our website.

Continue your journey from the SNCF train station by TGV high-speed train and OUIGO
Located a few minutes walk from terminals 1 and 2, the SNCF train station provides rapid access to the airport or your end destination. TGV and OUIGO trains run to 29 cities every day, including Paris, Grenoble and Marseille, as well as Turin and Milan in Italy.

Free shuttle bus to car park P5
Located off the airport site near the access road, car park P5 can be easily reached via Lyon Aéroport's free shuttle bus that runs every 10 to 15 minutes between 4.15 a.m. and 11.15 p.m., and every 20 minutes between 11.15 p.m. and 4.15 a.m.
Car park P5 is split into 4 areas that are named to make them easier to find (Agadir, Berlin, Calvi, Dakar/Dublin). The names of the shuttle bus stops match those of the car park areas.

Car sharing
A car sharing terminal is located at the exit of the SNCF train station. This accessible and practical meeting point enables you to continue your onward journey rapidly. You can also book your car share at the car sharing terminal. Follow the instructions at the terminal.

Bicycle parking
Bicycle parking with bike racks are available close to each terminal. You can therefore leave your bicycle in a secure place but don't forget your bicycle lock!

To benefit from the cheapest prices and guarantee a space in one of our secure car parks, we advise you to book your space as early as possible. You can book your space online 6 months before your departure date and up to 12 hours prior to departure.
If you enter the registration plate of your vehicle in advance, the barrier will open automatically for you when you enter and leave the car park.
There are 5 car rental firms on the airport site. They are located outside the terminal buildings and can be reached using our free shuttle bus service.
We operate a 24/7 free shuttle bus between car park P5 and all the airport terminals. It runs every 10 to 15 minutes from 4:15 a.m. to 11 p.m. and every 20 minutes from 11:15 p.m. to 4:15 a.m.. Allow 10 minutes to reach the terminal buildings from car park P5 by shuttle bus.
You can walk to the terminal buildings and the TGV station quickly and easily from car park P4. Car park P4 is not served by shuttle bus.
There is no fixed shuttle bus timetable so we are unable to give you a precise pick-up/drop-off time.
The terminal buildings can only be reached from car park P5 by shuttle bus. On average, the journey takes 10 minutes.
