Lyon Aéroport, actor of a positive mobility

Connect, innovate, transform - with the future for destination

Lyon Airport

At the heart of the territory - at the center of connections

50 years ago, in Lyon, a simple idea took off, that of offering the territory a new opening on the world. This ambition has shaped our history and continues today to guide each of our choices.

We were born here, in the heart of a rich, creative and bold territory. A territory that we are proud of, that we support and value, and with which we forge a strong relationship every day. Because we are not just a place of passage. We are an essential actor in development, a partner of the territory, a driver of human, economic and cultural connections.

For half a century, we have been growing up alongside those who travel, undertake, meet and dream. With our partners and all of our teams, we are participating in writing a common story: making the hearts of cities beat and the hearts of people, here and beyond borders.

The airport of all your travels, of all your stories

We are the starting point of a multitude of trajectories. We see travelers passing by, day after day, whose stories intersect without ever resembling each other:

Explorers ready to discover wider horizons,
Families who share precious moments,
Entrepreners who imagine, innovate, and create the value of tomorrow,
Children, whose amazed looks already trace the future.

Through them, more than 280 million stories began here. Unique stories, made of emotions, encounters, dreams realized. Each one nourishes our identity and contributes to making us more than just an airport: a place of life, passage, transformation and inspiration.

An experience designed for you: fluidity, quality, innovation

Supported by VINCI Airports, the world’s leading private airport operator, we rely on the expertise of an international network that accelerates our performance and pushes us to excel. Every day, we orchestrate dozens of professions, skills and energies gathered around a common goal: to offer a smooth, pleasant and reassuring travel experience.

We centralize, we coordinate, we anticipate. We constantly watch, in all weathers, thanks to the mobilization of passionate talents who commit themselves with demand and solidarity. Our promise: serve, facilitate, simplify.

Innovating is for us an obvious choice. As a VINCI Airports Centre of Excellence for Innovation and Customer Experience, we test, imagine and experiment with new services, new technologies and new ways to improve the passenger journey. From reception to infrastructure, from digital tools to personalized services, we constantly reinvent ourselves to make each trip a smooth and positive experience.

A lasting commitment to the future

Being an airport today means being committed with exemplarity to build a peaceful and responsible future. As pioneers in decarbonisation, we are proud to be zero net emissions on our own activities (ACA 5), a major step forward that demonstrates our commitment to being exemplary and to driving a virtuous movement throughout our ecosystem.

But our commitment goes further:

We are transforming our infrastructure to sustainably reduce our impact.
We accompany airlines and partners towards more respectful practices.
We support innovations in sustainable mobility
We work every day with local actors to create human, economic and social value: employment, entrepreneurship, freight, solidarity actions with the VINCI Foundation or even the Salvation Army.

We are a place where all faces intersect. A place where safety, inclusion and diversity are essential.
