The renovated National Adrien Dubouché Museum retraces the industry's history from antiquity to today, with several thousand examples on view to the public, the world's largest collection. Situated in the historic centre of Limoges and near the covered market, the Boucherie quarter (butcher's district) is known for its picturesque streets, lined with colourful mediaeval half-timbered dwellings. A pleasant stroll awaits you along the Vienne river, which crosses the city of Limoges.
