Discover airport life through the work of an artist in 5 episodes
As part of the partnership between VINCI Airports and the Cite Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l'Image, and in association with the Lyon BD Festival, Stanislas was unanimously chosen by the selection jury to take up a residency at Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport for several weeks.
During this time, he led the "Draw your comic" workshop for "La BD s'envole" during the 2022 summer vacations. A moment of sharing and exchange with children and parents who took off from Lyon.
A unique artistic style
With his sharp eye and style, which he describes as "simplistic" and "expressive", Stanislas freely recounts the activities of the airport and its workforce in a comic strip entitled "At the heart of Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport", intended for internal use only.
Disability as a creative lever
Deaf from birth, Stanislas makes his handicap a strength and a lever for his creativity. He was able to transcribe this strength in this comic strip, but also to share it with the airport's teams in order to better understand the different types of disability and thus optimize the passenger's experience.
For passengers, he is also involved in mediation activities to share his disability and his passion for the 9th art.
