1. Ibiza is the liveliest of the islands!

Ibiza is undoubtedly one of the best known party destinations in the world. It was the centre of hippie culture in the 70s and now the island is known for its trendy clubs which host sets by famous DJs. An ideal destination for those wanting to organise a trip with friends and party until the sun comes up!

Although Ibiza is lively, it has much more to offer than its clubs. It also has numerous pretty wild coves, idyllic beaches and very rich fauna and flora. The island is listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site for its biodiversity and its archaeological heritage.

2. Majorca (Mallorca), a picture postcard gem!

Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and the most varied! Here, you'll be spoilt for choice between the sublime coves, fine sandy beaches, museums and picturesque villages. You could spend a few days here relaxing or even a week or two exploring all the secrets of the island!

Unmissable activities include visiting the capital, Palma de Mallorca, a city rich in history, as well as the Drach caves or the Serra de Tramuntana, the largest mountain chain in Mallorca

The most touristy of the Balearics, Majorca is also the easiest to access from France. It is just a 90-minute flight from Lyon with easyJet, Volotea, Transavia.

3. Discreet Minorca (Menorca) and its wild beauty

Minorca is perfect for lovers of nature and open spaces! Declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1993 by UNESCO and much more discreet and preserved than Ibiza and Majorca, the island is a real paradise for hikers and tourists wanting to reconnect with nature. Walking, horse riding and canoeing are just some of the many outdoor activities on offer in Minorca allowing you to see the island from a different perspective. 

In terms of culture, you can discover multiple vestiges of Talayotic culture, an ancient people who occupied the island during the Bronze age, and visit the beautiful cathedrals of Santa Maria in Mahon, the capital and Santa Maria de Ciutadella.
