SEE YOU LATER
How can you avoid losing valuables confiscated at security before boarding?
With SEE YOU LATER, passengers can now have items which are not allowed in the cabin and are confiscated at security (pocket knives, scissors, etc.) sent to them.
Lyon-Saint Exupéry is the fist airport in France to offer this service. The object is placed into a numbered envelope, in exchange for a coupon given by the security officer. The passenger then has 15 days to carry out the procedure online, in order to have their object sent directly to their home.
Every month at Lyon-Saint Exupéry, almost 3,000 confiscated items are destroyed. An average of six per day are now sent back to their owners.
