Travelling pets

  • Live animals
    If your pet is accompanying you on your trip, you can contact the airline you are flying with directly and it will inform you of the procedures to be followed.
    You can also send or receive a pet by air freight, without necessarily travelling with it.

  • Conditions for flying in the cabin
    - Your pet should weigh less than 5kg
    - Its carrier should not be greater than 115 cm (width, length, height).
  • Conditions for flying in the hold
    - Your pet should weigh over 5kg
    - The airline has a pet carrier sales service
    - The hold is ventilated, pressurised and heated to make the trip more pleasant.
  • Rates
    - Household pets travel for the same price as excess baggage.
    Guide-dogs for disabled passengers travel free in the cabin near their master. They must be muzzled.
    Don't forget to bring their vaccination certificate.
  • Protected species
    Their transportation is highly regulated. Check with your airline.
