As the third ranking business airport in France, Lyon-Bron continues to develop in two main areas: business aviation activities, with infrastructure and new facilities projects that will increase the handling capacity (hangars, parking areas and runways), and the creation of a real estate and retail tertiary business cluster, with renovation of the existing infrastructures.

Business Aircraft parking areas

Firefighters’ house

  • Objectives
    → Create a new firefighters’ house to standards and demolish old building

    → Building a building to house the SSLIA

Development of non-aeronautics sector

  • Objectives
    → Densify the non-aeronautics zone of the airport using the available land
    → Create the Number One aeronautics cluster in Rhône-Alpes region

    → Service the plots to host diversification projects (real estate, retail, etc.)
  • Preliminary timeline : Completions starting in 2016
  • Cost of operation : €15 million for servicing

Air Terminal

  • Objectives
    → Expand the current air terminal to handle the growth and changes in transportation
  • Project
    → Extend the existing building, double the Inspection Screening Station (ISS) and create Inspection Screening of Hold Baggage (ISHB)

  • Cost of operation : 1 M€
