Aéroports de Lyon
With its Air France hub, conventional and low-cost scheduled flights, charter flights, cargo transport and business aviation, Aéroports de Lyon covers all market segments across its two airport platforms.
This balanced business portfolio offers high development potential, supported by efficient infrastructure.
An efficient, muti-specialist Airport
-
Low-cost flights : a fast-growing business
Low-cost flights contributed 13.5% of total traffic, which was itself stimulated by the arrival of the easyJet base.
This segment is an effective growth driver for the airport. -
Air France Hub : continued development
This business segment contributed 47% of traffic at Lyon-Saint Exupéry. £
With 3.8 million passengers carried, the Air France hub increased its traffic by 2.6% despite a much weaker global context in the final quarter of 2008. The hub's development is based on solid operational performance: connection time of 25 minutes, and a connection success rate above 99%. -
Conventional and charter flights: increasing international growth
This expansion is primarily due to the development of new route to the Mediterranean region. -
CargoPort: potential to be exploited
With an eventual site area exceeding 150 hectares, CargoPort is a multimodal one-stop-shop for all cargo activities. It is undeniably an important gateway for express cargo.£ Business aviation at Bron : efforts rewarded
With steady growth in business-aircraft movements, the corporate segment is withstanding the crisis better at Lyon-Bron than at its main peer airports. The operational efficiency of Lyon-Saint Exupéry and Lyon-Bron is due to their teams' expertise and to excellent
infrastructure :- Lowest connection time in Europe,
- Connection success rate above 99%,
- Single security control,
- Executive handling services for business flights.
A quick-access enjoyable Airport
-
Quick and convenient to get to
The only French airport, besides Paris-CDG, with a direct connection
to the TGV high-speed rail network, Lyon-Saint Exupéry is one of
Europe's few multimodal hubs - easily accessible by several highways
and Saint Exupéry TGV Railway Station, and soon by express tram
as well. From summer 2010, the RhôneExpress tram-train will
link the airport and Part-Dieu Railway Station in just 30 minutes,
running every quarter-hour. This facility will make Lyon-Saint Exupéry
the only French airport with a direct, dedicated connection to the
city centre via a fast rail link.

Innovative services
easy to access and use Innovative services have been designed to make Lyon-Saint Exupéry a vibrant location for living and doing business. One such example is the new Privilys offering: high-value-added business services with strong appeal for business travellers. Their card - PASS, SILVER or
GOLD - entitles them to exclusive privileges: membership of, or a guaranteed place in, one of our carparks; direct access to security control; access to the Mont-Blanc private lounge; special rates at the business centre and for custom hospitality and car-hire services.
They can also enjoy other specially-tailored services: for preparing a trip (e-Park service for booking a carpark space online, arranging a luggage porter or luggage strapping, etc.), greeting clients and bringing colleagues together at the business centre, enjoying rest and relaxation at their hotel of choice, savouring a deliciously good time at Espace Le Bec or OL Brasserie, or treating themselves to some quality products in one of the airport's many shops.
