Adult tour in 5 stages

  • 1. Meet in the airport: main hall of the TGV train station
    General presentation of the airport: view of the entire platform via a model of the facilities
  • 2. In the terminals
    Check-in, passenger security control, boarding lounges ...discover the secrets of all the stages of airport life.
  • 3. On the runways
    Guided tour on a bus: luggage processing, aircraft parking areas, control tower, fire station etc.
  • 4. Aboard the aircraft
    Visit an aircraft on the ground, the Tristar, and enjoy a film screening
  • 5. Visit the TGV train station
    An architectural masterpiece, created in 1994 by Catalan architect Santiago Calatrava

The discovery of the many facets of an airport site and the jobs performed is the educational purpose of an airport visit for schoolchildren. A souvenir booklet is given to each child at the end of the tour.

    Visit
    The tour is adapted to the visitors’ age (approximately 2 hours).
    In light of the duration of the walking tour and travel between terminals, the visit is not recommended for very young children and people with mobility difficulties. Picnics are not authorised.

  • Practical information
    Opening hours
    Visits are organised Monday to Friday (except bank holidays) at 9:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. for a duration of approximately 2 hours
  • Runway safety and security
    Visitors are required to have identity documents on the day of the visit.
    ID is compulsory for all participants in the visits (family record book for young children, passport or national identity card for those over 15).
    Upon visiting the boarding areas all members of the tour group will be subject to a security check performed by security agents. Any forbidden objects featured in the regulations will be confiscated during the security screen.
    We wish to point out to the supervising adults that they must take all measures to monitor their children during visits. We shall not be held responsible for any accident.
  • Group composition
    The group visit is planned for 10 up to a maximum of 25 people, including supervising adults.
  • Rates
    €12 per person (20 paying person)
    Package : €250 (from 1 to 20 person)
  • Parking
    A coach parking area is available outside the TGV train station.
